NYFF stands for the New York Film Festival. It's an annual film festival held in New York City, organized by the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Established in 1963, NYFF showcases a wide range of films, including features, documentaries, and short films from both established and emerging filmmakers worldwide. The festival is known for its curated selection of films, often focusing on artistic quality and innovation rather than commercial appeal.

Secondary Typeface
& Brand color

I’ve selected Geography by Kilm Type as our secondary typeface. Its geometric precision and modern elegance resonate with the vibrant energy of New York City, while ensuring readability.

Black and white serve as our primary brand colors, perfectly capturing the duality of light and dark, Additionally, I’ve curated unique color palettes drawn from iconic cinematic scenes, unifying our films under one cohesive brand identity while preserving each film’s distinct character.

Iconography

I’ve crafted a bespoke grid system for our iconography that aligns precisely with the logo’s dimensions. Every pixel in this meticulously designed structure is purposefully allocated to indicate key spaces—whether it’s a restroom, café, or elevator—ensuring both seamless navigation and a cohesive design narrative.
